Cloakroom

The cloakroom of the Central Library ist located on the ground floor.

Your Studicard (or the combined Studicard / library card) also functions as a key for the cloakroom system.

Here is how it works:

1.  Activate your Studicard at the card terminal (this is a one-off procedure and is only required before the first use of the locker).
2. Push the card into the lock of the selected cloakroom locker and shut the locker (by turning the knob).
3. Push the card into the lock in your locker and open (by turning the knob).

If you forget the locker number, hold the card in front of the card terminal again and retrieve the number.

Please do not leave your Studicard lying around. 

Important information:

• Your locker is available to you for a maximum of 22 hours. The locker must be cleared out when the library closes at 6 am.
• You can only occupy one locker with your card.
• If the time allocated is exceeded, you will no longer be able to open the locker. If this happens, please speak to the library staff. The charge for reopening a locker in these circumstances is 20€. Please observe the Central Library's locker regulations.

Day visitors to the library can borrow a Studicard upon payment of a deposit. Please speak to the entrance control staff for more information.
