Be it simple or complex teaching media, academic films on a subject-specific topic, or information videos for university communication—the Center for Audiovisual Production (Zentrum für Audiovisuelle Produktion, ZAP) translates your knowledge content and information into suitable forms of media.

Our services (available to students, teaching staff, and researchers) include: production, advice, support, and assistance for planning and implementing media projects.

The ZAP is open to all JGU members:
The devices and rooms of our production infrastructure can be rented or booked at two locations: in the Medienhaus Wallstrasse and in the Philosophicum. The ZAP experts offer advice, support, instruction, and, if required, in-depth training.
From a simple lecture recording to elaborate academic profiles, we develop and produce needs-based audiovisual media for use in research, teaching, and academic communication.
We offer advice and further training for teaching ideas or projects in which teaching staff or students would like to create media themselves. In our online courses and workshops, we share practical media skills with the university community.
The ZAP cooperates with other institutions and universities in various third-party funded projects. We primarily contribute our expertise in the areas of digitization and the production of teaching and learning media and academic communication.
