Are you a researcher or student in the social sciences or economics eager to master systematic literature reviews? Join us for the Third Edition of the Systematic Reviews Workshop, led by Andranik Tumasjan, Lorena Cascant Ortolano and Lars Iking.
This hands-on workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to the best-practice methodology of systematic reviews, focusing on:
- The “Ten Commandments” of literature reviews
- Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
- Advanced search strategies: truncation, phrase searching, Boolean logic, and controlled vocabularies
- Key databases: Web of Science, EBSCO Platform and more
- Citation tracking (forward & backward)
- Deduplicating results
- AI tools
Supported by subject librarians from Mainz University Library, participants will gain practical skills to independently conduct high-quality systematic reviews in their own research projects.
