This hands-on workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to the best-practice methodology of systematic reviews, focusing on:
- The “Ten Commandments” of literature reviews
- Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
- Advanced search strategies: truncation, phrase searching, Boolean logic, and controlled vocabularies
- Key databases: PsycINFO, Web of Science, and more
- AI tools and reference management software
- Citation tracking (forward & backward)
Supported by subject librarians from Mainz University Library, participants will gain practical skills to independently conduct high-quality systematic reviews in their own research projects.
