Your library card gives you access to our vast collection: around 3.5 million print media, 30,000 electronic journals, 1.2 million e-books, and much more. All you need is the barcode on your card. You can find it by selecting “UB” from the menu in JGU ID App.

To log in to your library account, please use your login credentials for your JGU account provided by the ZDV. To borrow media at the self-service terminals, you need your 6-digit PIN.

You can find the literature you need using our Research Portal. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, we are happy to help you with the literature search.

Tip: You can also order media from Germersheim to Mainz, and vice versa, free of charge.

If you can’t find the literature you are looking for in our collection, we’ll be happy to get them for you through interlibrary loan.
